We were lucky to have two former missionaries who had served in the Ventura County Mission come back to visit. Greg a.k.a Elder Hunt served in our ward. Trent a.k.a. Elder Blair came close, serving in Simi Valley. Troy couldn't resist a mid week outing.
So when the boys showed up at the house the night before, we ask them if they want something to drink. Hunt says he wants a Cactus Cooler. Sorry bud, they're on the boat! Guess he found them once he got there.
On a side note: Congratulations to Greg on his engagement.

First day trip entry.
This is our first adventure since starting the blog. Thanks to Mackenzie, Briana and the Jenkins family for making it happen. It was a great day out on the water. The kids had their feet off the bow and couldn't wait for the next wave to come and splash them. I like to hang back in the cockpit where it's typically dry. But that was not to be today. We had what Troy called a "rouge" wave that completely soaked all of us! No complaints! We had a blast!

Sailing adventures documented
We've had the sailboat for almost 5 years and have taken so many great friends and family out for fun adventures. We've been able to spend time with friends just enjoying the beauty of being out on the open water without the hustle and bustle of life. Enjoying time with family, spending a few hours without phones, computers, tvs. It's amazing!
This is an open invitation for anyone who wants to join us for an afternoon of sailing to just let us know. We love going out on the boat and really love when we have company to join us!
Happy sailing,
Troy and Dee
